![]() ![]() I am sticking with it because, unlike FX, that charges you a couple hundred bucks with each and every upgrade, GSW comes with lifetime updates. ![]() Again, first-time user, so my opinions are subject to change the longer I use the program. I bought this software for my event photography, so I have yet to try it for that. This one comes close, but it's still a blunt tool. This tool appears to be better at masking out the green in clothing and such, much easier than FX, in which you have to go through the painstaking process of point and clicking all around the area-very time-consuming!!! GSW has a MUCH better shadow tool than FX, which is, frankly, quite laughable, however, NONE of the green screen programs out there can render a totally realistic full-length subject due to the "paper-cutout" look of the shadow (real shadows fall off, becoming more diffuse the further away from the subject). With GSW ya gotta load 'em one at a time and output one at a time, which is pretty frustrating and a real time-waster if you have many images process in a short time. I am a longtime user of FX Photokey and am used to loading a bunch of images in at once and having the ability to output everything at once with the same settings. ![]() This is a great tool for extracting images, however, photoshop's "select and mask" does an equal or better job. I am a new user, so these are my first impressions. ![]()
